Exciting opportunity to work as a gardener at our garden Barakura English Garden is the first authentic English garden in Japan, and has been open to the public since 1990. The garden was designed with the guidance of Mr. John Brookes, ex-chairman of the Garden Designer Association of Britain and it has been run about 20 years under the ownership of Yamada family. Miss Kay Yamada, the part owner manages the garden in collaboration with the gardeners. Miss Yamada has made three show gardens at the Chelsea Flower Show and she won a silver-guilt prize in 2002.
